This tool supports 31 currencies: US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan plus the Australian and Canadian dollars, Swiss franc, Indian rupee and every other currency covered by the European Central Bank reference rates.
The rate date is displayed right under the result. The European Central Bank publishes reference rates once per business day around 16:00 CET, so on weekends and holidays the most recent trading day is shown.
Use Swap to reverse the conversion direction, or Refresh rates to pull the newest published data. Cross rates are derived from each currency's euro rate, for example USD to GBP equals the GBP/EUR rate divided by the USD/EUR rate.

Where do the exchange rates come from?
They come from frankfurter.app, a free API that serves the European Central Bank's daily reference rates. These are mid-market rates published once per business day, typically around 16:00 Central European Time.
Why does the rate date show yesterday or Friday?
The European Central Bank only publishes reference rates on working days. On weekends and TARGET holidays no new rates are issued, so the converter displays the most recent available publication date.
Are these the exact rates I will get at a bank or exchange office?
No. The rates shown are mid-market reference rates. Banks, cards and exchange services add spreads and fees on top, so real-world amounts will differ slightly from the converted figure shown here.
